Left over idli batter dosa
Ingredients
Left over idli batter—3 cups
Semolina (rave //sooji)—1/3 cup
Rice flour( akki hittu)—1/3 cup
Jeerige (jeera// cumin seeds)—1 tablespoon
Curry leaves (karibevu//kadipatta)—few chopped
Onion (irulli//pyaz)—finely chopped—2 medium sized
Chopped coriander leaves (kothambari soppu)—2 tablespoon
Salt—to taste
Water—as required
Method
Firstly take idli batter in a mixing bowl,add sooji,rice flour,jeerige,onion chopped,coriander leaves,curry leaves,salt and mix
Everything well together adding sufficient water.
The batter consistency has to be like regular dosa batter.
Heat a iron or nonstick tava or pan.
Grease the tava.
Sprinkle little water and when its stops sizzling wipe well.
Then pour the batter evenly all over tava in circular motion.
Drizzle some oil over and around the dosa.
Cover and cook and flip onto to the other side and cook well.
Remove from tava and serve hot dosa with chutney or chutney powder.
