Maggie manchurian recipe
Ingredients
Maggi noodles packet—2
Finely Chopped onion—2 tablespoon
Finely chopped carrot—2 tablespoon
Finely chopped cabbage—1 tablespoon
Chopped capsicum—2 tablespoon
Tomatoes—2 tablespoon chopped
Ginger,garlic,green chillies finely chopped( or paste)—1 teaspoon each
Black pepper powder—1 teaspoon
Soya sauce—1 tablespoon
Vinegar—1 tablespoon
Tomato sauce—2 teaspoon
Red chilli sauce—1 teaspoon
Maggi masala packets—2
Maida —1/4 cup
Corn flour—1/3 cup
Little crushed Maggi noodles
Oil—for deep frying
Method
Boil Maggi noodles in 1 1/2 of water and cook until noodles are cooked well,do not over cook as it turns mushy.
Transfer to a colander or strainer,cool completely.
Mix together onion,cabbage,carrot,capsicum,ginger and garlic in a bowl.
Add in boiled Maggi noodles.
Add in black pepper powder,vinegar soya sauce,tomato sauce,red chilli sauce,masala powder,corn flour,maida.
Mix well together with your hands gently.
Grease hands with oil and make small sized manchurian balls
Roll them in crushed Maggi noodles till it coated from all the sides.
Heat oil in a kadai or pan,and deep fry few balls at a time till golden brown and crisp on low flame.
Drain on an absorbent paper and keep aside.
For the sauce
Oil—1 tablespoon
Ginger garlic green chillies—1 teaspoon each
Veggies—onion,capsicum and tomatoes, 1 tablespoon each chopped into cubes
Red chilli and tomato ketchup—1 teaspoon each
Vinegar—1 teaspoon
Corn flour one tablespoon + water ( as required)—make slurry
Heat oil in a pan,add all the ingredients.
Cook all the above for 4 to 5 minutes on medium flame,stirring continuously .
Before serving manchurian,mix well the fried cooled manchurian balls in sauce an stir for 3 to 4 minutes on high heat.
Serve hot.
