Parle -G biscuits halbai ( halwa)

 


Ingredients

Milk—1/2 litre ( 500 ml)
Parle -g biscuits—11
Sugar—1/3 cup
Cardamom pods ( ellaki//elaichi)—5
Ghee—1 teaspoon 

Plate or tray greased with ghee.

Method 

Firstly brake biscuits into small pieces and soak in 1/2 of the milk.
Stir till it completely dissolve in milk.

Take rest of the milk in a nonstick pan or thick bottomed pan.
Let it boil on medium flame,keep stirring.
When the milk starts boiling,add soaked biscuits mixture.
Keep cooking on medium flame stirring continuously.

When the biscuits mixture thickens,add sugar,ghee.

When the mixture starts thickening,add in cardamom powder and mix well.
Keep stirring until it starts leaving the sides of pan,  it will take 8 to 10 minutes.
Pour onto a greased tray and pat it.

Allow it to cool completely.
Finally cut into desired shape.

Enjoy soft,delicious halbai.
