Left over chapattis( rotis) laddu

 



Ingredients 

Chapattis—3 
Jaggery powder (Bella//gud)—3 tablespoon 
Ghee—1 tablespoon 
Cashew nuts (godambi//kaju)—1 tablespoon 
Almonds (badami//badam)—1 tablespoon 
Cloves (lavanga)—2
Cardamom pods (ellaki//elaichi)—2
Black pepper corns (kaalu menasu)—2
Nutmeg powder (jaikai//jaiphal)—1/4 teaspoon (or one pinch)
Saffron strands (kesar//kesari)—1 pinch
Mace ( japatre// javitri)—small piece ( optional)

Method 

Powder badam,cashews,cloves,pepper corns,javitri,cardamom,cloves in a mixer grinder jar to fine powder.

Tear the chapattis and grind it in a mixer grinder jar to fine powder.

Take the ground chapathi powder in a pan,add ghee and fry on medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes.

Switch off the stove.
To the same pan add jaggery powder,saffron strands  and ground spice powder,and mix well together when the mixture is hot.

Sprinkle little warm water or milk ( 1 or 2 tablespoon) and mix well.

Take small portions of the  mixture  and make small balls to form laddu.
Serve immediately.
You can’t store this for long.
