Godi hittina dosa (wheat flour dosa)
Ingredients
Godi hittu (wheat flour//atta)—2 cups
Chiroti rave (fine sooji//semolina)—1 cup
Curd (mosaru//dahi)—1/2 cup
Sugar—1 teaspoon
Cooking soda—1/4 teaspoon
Salt—to taste
Ghee (tuppa)—1 teaspoon
Water—3 1/4 cup
Oil—for making dosa
Method
Mix together godi hittu,rave,salt,sugar ,soda,ghee in a bowl.
Add in curd and whisk it.
Then add water little by little and whisk the batter.
Make sure there are no lumps.
The consistency should be like dosa batter.
Cover with a lid and keep it aside for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Then whisk again.
Now to prepare dosa
Heat iron tava or nonstick pan on medium flame.
Grease the tava.
Once hot enough ,sprinkle little water on iron tava.
Water sizzles and evaporates.
Now lower the flame to low and pour a laddle full of batter in the centre and spread in circular motion.
Sprinkle oil on the dosa and around edges.
Cook on medium flame,until dosa turns crisp and golden brown.
Remove the dosa from ends and fold it.
Remove from the tava.
Serve hot dosa with chutney or any curry.
