Godhi hittina mudde

 


Ingredients 

Wheat flour (atta// godhi hittu)—1/2 cup
Water—1 cup +1/4 cup
Salt—1/2 teaspoon 
Ghee—1 teaspoon 

Method 

Firstly add one teaspoon of wheat flour in 1/4 cup of water and mix well and keep the slurry ready.

Then take a thick bottomed pan or kadai or nonstick pan.
Add one cup of water,ghee,salt and keep it for boiling on medium flame.
Add the slurry too.

Once the water comes to boil,add the wheat flour stirring continuously.
Turn the flame to low and cook until it thickens.

Mix continuously using a wooden laddle.
Keep stirring till mudde becomes smooth and thickens completely.
Cover with a lid and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on low flame.

To shape the wheat flour mudde to balls,
Grease a bowl with ghee ,place laddle full of mixture and start twirling it ( rotating rapidly)around until it becomes a nice smooth ball.
Or you can do it by greasing a plate and roll with greased palms.
Once done serve hot mudde with sambar of your choice.
