Instant godi hittina spongy dosa( wheat flour appam)

 



Ingredients 

Godi hittu ( wheat flour//atta)—1 1/2 cups
Avalakki ( poha//beaten rice flakes)—1/2 cup
Grated fresh coconut (kayi turi// nariyal)—1/2 cup
Thick curd ( mosaru//dahi)—1/2 cup
Sugar—1 teaspoon 
Salt—to taste
Cooking soda—1 teaspoon 
Water—11/2 to 2 cups ( as required)

Method 

Firstly coarsely  powder avalakki in a mixer grinder jar.
Then add in grated coconut and grind again.
Finally add godi  hittu,salt,sugar,curd,water.
Grind to a smooth batter.
Transfer it to a bowl.
Cover with a lid and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Mix well again.

Then add the soda and mix everything well together.

Now heat the pan or nonstick pan,once’s hot enough pour a laddle full of batter in the centre and slightly spread it in circular motion.
Do not make it thin,make like pan cakes.
Drizzle little oil.
Close with a lid and cook till it turns to brown in colour.
Open the lid and remove the dosa.
Serve hot dosa with chutney or saagu or any curry.
