Left over rice dosa

 



Ingredients 

Left over rice (cooked)—1 1/2 cup 
 Upma Sooji ( semolina//rava)—1 cup 
Curd (mosaru//dahi)—1 cup
Salt—to taste
Cooking soda—1 pinch
Water as required 

Method 

Firstly take sooji in a mixer grinder jar and grind it to fine powder.

Next add cooked rice into the mixer grinder jar,add curd and grind to a smooth batter.
You can add required amount of water to ease the grinding.
Add salt while grinding.
Now remove the batter to a mixing bowl.
Cover with a lid and let it rest for 10 minutes.
The batter consistency has to free flowing,similar to regular dosa batter.

Now add soda and mix well.
( do not add too much soda).

Now grease the tava or skillet .heat on medium flame.
Take laddle full dosa batter and gently spread the batter in circular motion.
Drizzle some oil on dosa and also on sides.
Cover with a lid and cook for few minutes till it turns brown and crisp.
Fold the dosa into half.
Serve hot dosa with chutney.
