Masala papad recipe
Ingredients
Lijjat urad papad—4
Tomato finely chopped—1 cup
Carrot grated—1 cup
Coriander leaves (kothambari soppu)-finely chopped—1/2 cup
Chat masala—
Lemon —1
Salt and red chilli powder mixed —1 teaspoon
Sev—1/4 cup
Ghee or butter
Method
You can either Deep fry the papad in Oil or roast it.
You can even roast it in microwave.
Place the papad away from center and microwave on high for 15 seconds ,and tilt the papad and continue microwave again for another 15 seconds ( or till done)
Heat a tava or pan and roast the papad both sides by pressing with a spatula on medium flame.
Now mix chopped onions,tomatoes,coriander leaves and grated carrot,red chilli powder and salt mix Lemon juice ,mix it well together.
To serve the masala papad
Place the Roasted papad In the serving plate,grease it with a little ghee or butter.
Spread the prepared mixture evenly on top of each papad.
Sprinkle chat masala and sev .
Serve immediately.
There is no specific measurement for this recipe,
Depending on your spice level and taste you can add the ingredients and chilli powder.
