Mango fruit halwa


Ingredients 

Mango fruit pieces—1 .5 cup
Sugar—1 cup
Vanilla custard powder—1/2 cup
Ghee—1/4 cup
Cardamom pods (ellaki//elaichi)—3
Saffron strands ( kesar//kesari)—1 pinch
Cashews (godambi)—2 tablespoon chopped into bits
Raisins ( drakshi)—2 tablespoon 
Water—1 cup

Method 

Grease a plate  or pan in which you are going to set the halwa with ghee and keep it ready.

Now transfer the sugar along with cardamom pods to a mixer grinder jar and grind  it to fine powder.
Now add chopped mango pieces to the same jar and grind to smooth puree.
Add custard powder and again grind until everything mixes well.

Now transfer this mixture to a non stick pan or kadai or thick bottomed kadai,add kesari,and water and mix well .

Start cooking on low medium flame adding 1 tablespoon of ghee.
Stir on until the mixture starts to thicken slightly.
Keep stirring until the mixtures turns thick and it will turn glossy and leaves the corners of the pan.
Add drakshi and cashews and rest of the ghee.

Cooking will take just 10  to 12 minutes.

Once the halwa is done ,transfer it to greased plate and level it.
Sprinkle cashews and drakshi over the mixture.
Let it cool .
Once cooled,cut the halwa into desired shape.
Now tasty,easy mango halwa is ready to eat.
