Sweet chutney recipe for chaats( quick recipe)

 









Ingredients 
Tamarind (hunase hannu//imli)—orange sized 
Jaggery powder (Bella//gud)—1/2 cup
Salt—1/2 teaspoon 
Red chilli powder ( achha menasina pudi)-1/2 teaspoon 
Jeera powder (jeerige//cumin powder)—1 teaspoon 
Water— as required 

Method

Soak tamarind in water.
Now boil soaked tamarind,jaggery,in a pan for 3 to 4 minutes.
Add in red  chilli powder,salt,jeera powder and cook for 2 more minutes.
Switch off the stove 
Let it cool completely.
Grind in mixer grinder jar and store.

You can use this for chaats recipes.

You can also add  seedless dates along with tamarind (optional)
