Mango shrikhand


Ingredients 

Thick  Hung curd( mosaru//dahi//yoghurt)—1 cup
Powdered sugar—2  to 3 tablespoon 
Mango ( mavina hannu)—1
Saffron rice (kesari//kesar)— 1 teaspoon 
Cardamom powder (ellaki//elaichi)—1 tablespoon 
Nuts ( cashews(Godambi),raisins(drakshi),badam)—1 tablespoon each chopped 

Method 

Hung the curd  in a muslin cloth for 1 to 2 hours.
Wash and chop mangoes and blend in a mixer grinder jar or blender till you get a smooth puree.
 Grind the sugar in a mixer grinder jar to fine powder.
 In a  bowl  mix together hung curd,mango puree,cardamom powder,saffron strands,sugar,dry fruits and whisk till all the ingredients combined well.
Pour the mango shrikhand in  individual serving bowls and garnish with chopped nuts and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Serve chilled.
You can also use tinned mangoes and dry fruits of your choice can be added.
