Jeera biscuits


Ingredients 

Wheat flour (atta//godi hittu)—1 1/4 cup
Ghee-1/4 cup
Powdered sugar—1/4 cup
Milk—2 to 3 tablespoon 
Jeera ( cumin seeds//jeerige)—1 tablespoon 
Salt—a pinch( 1/4 teaspoon)
Baking powder—1/4 teaspoon 
Baking soda—1/4 teaspoon 

Method 

Dry roast jeera for 3 to 4 minutes on medium heat.
Take ghee and powdered sugar in a bowl,cream ( beat)together with a hand Blender or you can can do it with your hand.
When it becomes smooth and creamy add wheat flour,salt,baking powder,baking soda ( sieved  together).Or mixed well together.
Add cumin seeds as well.
Mix to a crumble texture with your hands.
Now slowly add milk little by little and prepare the dough.
 Do not knead the dough for long,just combining together is enough.

Shape into cylindrical log properly 
Cut into slices and place on the greased baking tray or plate.
( or you can make round shaped cookies )

Now preheat the kadai or cooker for 6 to 7 minutes on medium heat.
Place a trivet stand.
Now place the baking tray in kadai and cook for 20 to 25 minutes on low medium flame Ot till they turn to golden brown colour and crisp.
Take out and let them cool completely.
Store in a air tight container.

Little sweet and little salty jeera biscuits are ready.

Note;; you can also bake in microwave oven at 180 c for 18 to 20 minutes.depends on microwave
