Instant majjige saaru ( Majjige paldya)


Ingredients 


Curd(mosaru)—1 cup
Water—-2 cups
Ginger—-small piece( crushed)
Sariana pudi (rasam powder)—1/2 teaspoon 
Turmeric powder (arisina//haldi)—-1/4 teaspoon 
Curry leaves (karibevu// kadipatta)—few
Coriander leaves (kothambari soppu)—1 tablespoon chopped 
Salt—-to taste.
Ghee(tuppa)—1 tablespoon 
Mustard seeds (sasive)—1 teaspoon 
  • Jeera (jeerige//cumin seeds)—1 teaspoon 
Asafoetida (hing/ ingu)—1/2 teaspoon 


Method

Whisk curd well by adding water.
Heat oil in a pan,add sasive,jeerige,hing,when it stops spluttering add karibevu,ginger crushed.
Sauté on medium flame 
Lower the flame to low and pour whisked butter milk water.
Add in saarina pudi,arisina and mix well.
Bring it to boil .
When it starts boiling add salt in the end and switch off the stove.
Garnish with kothambari soppu and mix well.
Now instant majjige saaru is ready
Serve hot with hot cooked rice.
