Bale dindu mosaru bajji (banana stem)

Ingredients 

Bale dindu (banana stem)—-1
Coconut grated (Kayi turi)—2 tablespoon 
Thick curd (mosaru)—2 cups or as required 
Kothambari soppu (coriander leaves)—2 tablespoon chopped 
Green chillies—( hasiru menasina kayi)—2 chopped 
Salt to Taste
Mustard seeds (sasive)—1 teaspoon 
Asafoetida (hing//ingu)—1/2 teaspoon 
Oil or ghee- 1 tablespoon 

Method 

Peel the outer layers of bale dindu ( banana stem)
Discard the outer layers.
Now cut the stem into horizontal circles.
You  will find thread like fibres sticking to knife.
Remove fibres using fingers.

Now chop them into fine pieces and soak them in water adding a spoon of curd or butter milk to avoid discolouration.

Prepare for seasoning (oggarane)

Now heat oil In a kadai or laddle,once hot add mustard seeds,hing when it crackles add chopped green chillies and saute till chillies turns to white colour.

Now take out the soaked dindina pieces into a mixing bowl,add salt,chopped coriander leaves,curd,and  pour oggarane .
Mix everything well together with your hands.

Healthy Bale dindina mosaru bajji is ready.
