Rava happala ( sooji papad)

Ingredients 

Rave( sooji//semolina)—1/4 cup
Salt—1/2 teaspoon or to taste 
Jeera Pepper powder ( jeerige menasu kaalu powder)—1 teaspoon or red chilli flakes.
Om kaalu( ajwain)—1/2 teaspoon 
Hing (asafoetida)—1/4 teaspoon 
Water—2 1/2 cup

Method 

Grease a plate and keep it ready.
 You can even use greased plastic or parchment paper or silicon sheet.

Heat water in a pan or vessel on medium flame.
When water begins to  boil,add salt,jeera pepper powder ,om kaalu.
Mix well.
Add rave (sooji) little at a time and stirring continuously.

Cook on low heat stirring continuously,till rave is cooked it may take 3 to 4 minutes.
The mixture becomes even and smooth,with no lumps .

Switch off the stove.

Take a small laddle or big spoonful of mixture and pour on greased plate,to a medium thick circle.
Don’t make it too thin.

Dry the happala under hot sunlight for a day or two.

Now happala is ready.
Store in a container.

Deep fry in hot oil.

Note;; heat the oil and while frying lower the flame to sim .
