Pudina masala chapathi



Ingredients 

Fresh pudina leaves—1 cup
Wheat flour (atta//godi  hittu)—2 cup
Coriander powder (dhania//kothambari bija pudi )—1 tablespoon 
Jeera powder (jeerige//cumin powder)—1 teaspoon 
Red chilli powder (achha menasina pudi)—1 teaspoon 
Garam masala powder—1 teaspoon 
Turmeric powder (arisina//haldi)—1 teaspoon 
Asafoetida (hing//ingu)—1 teaspoon 
Om kaalu (ajwain)—1 teaspoon 
Ghee—1 teaspoon 
Salt —to taste

Method 

Remove the leaves from stems.
Wash in water couple of times ,drain and chop them.

Take a large mixing bowl add all the ingredients and mix well.
Mix everything together making sure all the spices are combined well with flour.

Add water little by little and knead  to a smooth ,soft dough.
Now cover and keep it aside for 10 minutes.

Now knead the dough Again  and Divide into equal parts,(balls)

 Now roll the ball into round circles with a rolling pin.
You can dust with wheat flour while rolling.

Heat the tava or skillet on medium heat,once’s hot enough,transfer the rolled chapathi on tava.
Cook the chapathi on one side brushing with little oil and after few minutes flip it.
Cook the other side also brushing with oil.

When done remove and cook all the chapathis in the same way.

Now pudina masala chapathi is ready to serve.
Serve with curd,pickle and any curry of your choice.
