Pudina juice (panaka)


Ingredients 

Fresh pudina leaves—1 cup
Sugar—1/4 cup ( or jaggery powder or honey)
Lemon—1/2 
Ginger (shunti)—small piece 
Jeera  powder (cumin//jeerige powder)—1 teaspoon 
Black salt—(or normal salt )—1 /2 teaspoon 
Water—1 cup or as required 

Method 

Remove the leaves from the stems .
Wash in water thoroughly for a couple of times.
Add all the ingredients  (adding little water in the beginning)in a blender or mixer grinder jar and blend to a smooth paste.

Strain the mixture.
Add more water and blend again and strain.
Stir well and pour into glasses and add ice cubes if desired.
Serve cold.

The sugar can be adjusted according to your taste.
Pepper powder can be added to enhance taste.
