Goda masala recipe( maharashtrian spice powder mix)

Ingredients 

Coriander seeds( dhania seeds//kothambari bija)—2 tablespoon 
White sesame seeds ( bili yellu//til)—1 teaspoon 
Shahi jeera seeds( black cumin seeds,)—1 teaspoon 
Jeera (jeerige //cumin seeds)—1 teaspoon 
Ghasghase (poppyseeds//khus khus)— 2 teaspoon 
Cinnamon stick ( dalchini)—1 inch piece
Cloves( lavanga)—4
Cardamom pods (ellaki//elaichi)—2
Black pepper corns ( kaalu menasu)—1 teaspoon 
Black cardamom (  kappu ekaki //badi elaichi)—1
Dry red chillies—3
Star anise( chakra phool) —1
Asafoetida (hing//ingu)—-1 teaspoon 
Javithri ( mace// japatre)—1 
Tej patta ( pulav yele,bay leaf)—1
Stone flower( kallu hoovu// dagad phool)—1
Maratha moggu( kapok buds)—3 



Method 

Roast all the ingredients listed above on medium flame adding a teaspoon of oil.
Do not burn the spices.
Just warming up is enough.
Cool completely.
Powder in a mixer grinder jar and store .


Note ; you can also add 1 tablespoon of dry coconut grated (kobbari//copra) .
