Authentic nimbe hannina panaka ( lemon juice)
Ingredients
Water—3 cupsLemon—1
Sugar—5 teaspoon or according to your taste
Salt—1 big pinch
Edible camphor powder ( pachha karpoora)—1 pinch
Cardamom pods (ellaki//elaichi)—2 crushed to powder
saffron strands ( kesari dala // kesari)—1/2 teaspoon
Method for making panaka
Soak kesari dala in 1 tablespoon of water for 10 minutes.
Squeeze lemon juice.
Take a vessel add water ,sugar,lemon juice,salt,edible camphor powder,cardamom powder,saffron strands and mix well with a spoon.
Let it rest for 10 minutes ,so that all flavours sets in water well.
Now refreshing,thirst quenching panaka is ready ,serve in glass as it is or chilled.
