Dates and dry fruits ladoo( sugar free)

Ingredients 

Seed less dates ( kharjoora)—2 cups
Raisins ( drakshi )—1/4 cup
Cashews (godambi)—1/4 cup
Almonds ( badam//badami)—1/4 cup
Ghee- 3 tablespoon 
Ghasghase ( poppyseeds)—1 tablespoon 
Dry coconut grated( copra//kobbari)—1/2 cup
Cardamom pods (ellaki//elaichi)-3 to 4
Jaikai (jaiphal//nutmeg )-powder—1/2 teaspoon or a small piece 
Edible gum( gondu)—-2 tablespoon

Note 

You can add nuts and dry fruits of your choice like pistachios,walnut ,tutifruity figs,etc.


Method 

Take all the nuts and raisins  in a mixer jar and coarsely powder them.do not make it fine powder.
Just 2 pulse is enough 

( you should feel crunchiness of nuts in the ladoo)


Heat a tablespoon of ghee in a nonstick pan or thick bottomed kadai,add edible gum and roast them on low flame till they pop up.and turns to white colour.
Remove them and keep it aside.
In the same pan add ghasghase and roast them till you get a nice aroma on low flame .
When they are done add cardamom,jaiphal and dry coconut and fry for a few seconds .
No need to brown them.
Remove from flame and transfer to the edible gum plate.
Let it cool completely.
Now transfer the mixture to a mixer jar and powder them to fine powder.

You can pulse the dates in a mixer jar.

Now take the ground nuts in the same pan or kadai add 1 teaspoon of ghee and roast them on medium flame for few minutes.

Add in dates paste and saute for a while.
Finally add  ground edible gum and coconut powder mixture  and little gheeand saute for  few seconds.


Switch off the stove and transfer the mixture to a plate.mix well and combine all the ingredients.
Let it cool for a while .
Grease your hand and Make small ladoos( balls) from your hand out of the mixture.
Now healthy and sugar free laddoos are ready to eat .
Store in an air tight container and refrigerate them.
