Hasi arisina kombu( raw fresh turmeric roots) tambuli

Ingredients

Arisina kombu ( raw turmeric roots)—3 to 4 small pieces

 Fresh Grated coconut—1 cup
Curd(mosaru// dahi)—1 cup
Hurigadale (roasted gram)—2 tablespoon
Black pepper corns—1 tablespoon
Jeera (jeerige )—1 tablespoon
Curry leaves (karibevu//kadipatta)—few
Ghee—2 tablespoon
Salt to taste.

For seasoning 

Mustard seeds (sasive)—1 teaspoon
Jeera(jeerige// cumin seeds)—1teaspoon

Method 

Wash the turmeric roots and Peel the skin ,and cut them into small pieces.

Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan on medium heat,add pepper corn and jeera.
Sauté for a minute.
Then add arisina kombu pieces fry for  3 to 4 minutes.
Add in grated coconut and hurigadale,fry for a minute..
Switch off the stove.
Let it cool completely.
Add salt and grind all the fried ingredients together in a mixer jar to a smooth paste adding little water.
Transfer the ground mixture to a mixing bowl,add curd and mix well.


Prepare for seasoning (oggarane)

Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a laddle,once hot enough add mustard seeds,jeera and curry leaves.
When it stops spluttering pour over tambuli.
Now tambuli is ready to serve.
 Serve with rice.
