Dalimbe hannu sippe ( pomegranate peel) tambuli

Ingredients

Dalimbe peels—   Peels of one medium  fruit or 1/2 cup peels
Grated coconut—3/4  to 1cup
Thick curd—1 cup
Jeera (jeerige//cumin seeds)—1 tablespoon
Black pepper corns—1 tablespoon
Salt to taste.

For seasoning (oggarane)

Ghee- 2 tablespoon 
Dry red chillies—2
Mustard seeds (sasive)-1 teaspoon 
Jeera (jeerige//cumin seeds )—1 teaspoon 

Method 

Heat oil in a pan or kadai,add jeera,pepper corn,and sauté for a while on medium flame.
Add in chopped pomegranate peels and roast them till peels become slightly crisp and change in colour.
Add grated coconut and sauté for a while;

Switch off the stove and keep it aside and allow it to cool completely.
Transfer the cooled ingredients to a mixer jar,add salt ,and grind them to a fine smooth paste.
Mix it with curd.

Now tambuli is ready.

Heat ghee in a laddle,once hot enough add mustard seeds,jeera and broken red chillies.
When stops spluttering pour over tambuli,mix well

Serve with hot  rice.

Note 

This tambuli is beneficial in vomtting and diarrhoea 

If fresh peels are not available we can use sun dried peels.
