Sowthekayi sippe hasi gojju( cucumber peel gojju)
Ingredients
Peels of cucumber ( 2 medium cucumber)—1 cup
Grated coconut—1 cup
Green chillies—1 or 2
Coriander leaves—handful
Ginger—1 inch piece
Tamarind—small piece
Salt to taste.
Mustard seeds (sasive )—1 teaspoon
Mustard seeds (sasive )—1 teaspoon
Curd—thick 1 or 2 cup
Hurigadale (roasted gram)—1 tablespoon ( optional)
Also you can add a teaspoon of jaggery.
Method
Wash the cucumber peels.
Now take everything except curd in a mixer grinder and grind to a smooth paste adding little water.
Prepare for seasoning (oggarane)
Take a laddle add 1 tablespoon of ghee,once hot add 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds and jeera and asafoetida,when it stops spluttering pour over grind chutney mixture.
Add thick curd ,and mix well.
Gojju consistency should not be watery.
Serve with rice ,akki rotti.
