Kodubale

Ingredients 

Rice flour—1 cup
Hurigadale or fried gram—1/4 cup
Chiroti rave ( fine sooji)—1/4 cup
Maida flour —1/4 cup
Grated fresh coconut—1/4 cup
Red chilli powder—2 teaspoon or 5 to 6 red bydagi chillies 
Salt to taste.( or 1 teaspoon)
Asafoetida—1/2 teaspoon 
Curry leaves—few
Oil— 3 tablespoon 

Oil to deep fry.

Method 

Take rice flour,chiroti rava,and maida together in a frying pan.
Roast them on low flame ,just to make them hot.
It will take 2 to 3 minutes.
Turn off the heat.
Transfer to a mixing bowl.
 Meanwhile grind hurigadale until fine powder using a mixer grinder.
To the same jar add in coconut grated,curry leaves,asafoetida,salt and red chilli powder and grind them to fine powder .

Now add this ground masala to the rice flour mix and mix well.
Now  heat 3 tablespoon of oil in a laddle ,once very hot pour on rice flour mix.
Carefully mix with a spoon.
Now mix  and Rub well using hands.
Now add water little by little and prepare a soft dough.
Do not make it hard or too soft .
It should be soft enough to make kodubale rings.
Now take a small sized dough and roll it using palms or just fingers.
Bring the edges together,seal it and make rings.
Like wise finish making 8 to 10 kodubale.
 
Heat the oil in a kadai .
Once hot enough drop the kodubales into hot oil one by one carefully ,keeping the heat to low.
Fry them under medium low flame until all the bubbles are stopped and they turn to brown.
Take them out into a colander using perforated laddle..

Cool them and store in air tight container.
