Chigali ( yellu unde or til laddu )

Ingredients 

Black yellu ( til or sesame ) — 1 cup 
Jaggery powder(Bella// gud)—3/4 cup
Grated kobbari ( dry copra )—1/4 cup
Cardamom pods(ellaki//elaichi) —3 
Ghee —1 teaspoon 

White til can also be used instead of black.

Method 

Dry roast  yellu ( til ) till you hear a spluttering sound on medium heat.
Don’t fry it to become too dark. Keep aside and let it cool

Crush fresh cardamoms to powder.

Grind the roasted til in a mixer jar into a fine powder.
Then add dry coconut, jaggery powder, cardamom powder and just pulse the mixer jar just to mix everything.

Transfer to a plate and mix a bit.
Add ghee and mix well.
And take a small portion and make it into small lemon sized balls.
Now chigali is ready.
