Shunti( ginger) tambuli

Ingredients

Ginger(shunti// adarak )— palm size

Curd( mosaru// dahi )—1 cup
Fresh grated. Coconut—1 cup
 Ghee- 2 table spoon

For seasoning

Ghee—1 tablespoon
Mustard seeds(. Sasive)—1 teaspoon 
Asafoetida( hing// ingu)—1 teaspoon 
 Dry Red chillies—2
Urad dhal( uddina belle)—1 teaspoon 
White til( seasame seeds// yellu) —1 tablespoon
Curry leaves( karibevu// kadipatta) —few 


METHOD



 Wash ginger and peel the skin .
Cut into small pieces.
Fry ginger in ghee for 2 minutes on medium heat.

Take out of the heat.

Let it cool .then grind with coconut and salt .with very little water.in a mixer grinder  jar to  a smooth paste.
Mix this  paste with beaten curd.and mix well together.

Finally heat oil in a laddle,when hot enough  add mustard seeds after it splutters ,add urad dhal,red chillies,
Asafoetida,and lastly white til 
Let it cool completely.


Add this to ginger mix .and mix well and serve.
Now shunti tambuli is ready to serve.
Serve with rice.
