Dosa ( plain saada )

Ingredients 

Sona masoori rice —3 cups
Urad dhal( uddina bele )—1 cup
Channa dhal( kadale bele )— 1/2 cup
Methi seeds ( fenugreek)—-1/4 cup

Method 

Wash and soak all the ingredients thrice in water and soak in enough water for 5 to 6 hours.

Grind the soaked ingredients into a fine paste either in a grinder or mixer.
Use the water as needed to get the consistency.
Final batter consistency should not be too thick or too thin.
Transfer the batter to a large vessel or container.
Add salt  or you can add salt next day while making dosas.

Ferment  overnight or 10 to 12 hours .

Next morning batter doubles .

To make dosa 

Mix the fermented batter well.
Heat the greased tava or skillet on medium heat.

Once its hot enough pour a laddle of batter and make dosas in circular motion.

Add oil around and edges of dosa.

Cover it with a lad and cook 
Once it turns light brown and crispy remove and serve 
Serve with chutney or palya
