Boodugumbala kayi sippe chutney

Ingredients 

Boodugumbala kayi sippe—1 cup ( ash gourd peels )
Fresh grated coconut— 1 cup
Hurigadale ( roasted gram)— 1  to 2 tablespoon 
Ginger—small piece 
Tamarind( hunase hannu// imli)—small piece 
Curry leaves- ( karibevu// kadipatta)— 2 tablespoon 
Coriander leaves( kothambari soppu)— 2 tablespoon 
Green chillies—( hasiru menasina kayi)—1 to 2 
Salt to taste 
Asafoetida. ( hing // ingu)_—1/2 teaspoon 

Ghee ( tuppa)—2 tablespoon 

Method 

Wash the peels 
Heat a tablespoon of ghee in a pan add the peels,green chillis,tamarind,ginger,curry leaves and sauté till peels becomes soft,on medium flame.

Cool completely.

Grind them along with coconut,asafoetida,salt,coriander leaves  to a smooth chutney consistency.

Now prepare for  oggarane ( seasoning )


Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a laddle when hot add  a teaspoon of 
mustard seeds( sasive),urad dhal,( uddina belle) a a little menthya seeds( methi  // fenugreek seeds)
When it stops spluttering pour over chutney mix well and serve
